ELECTRONICS & HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE CLEAN-UP DAY SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13

The Electronics & Household Hazardous Waste Clean-up Day will be at the

Delaware County Fairgrounds, 200 E Acers St, Manchester, IA 52057

Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 8:00AM – 12:00PM.

There is no charge for bringing acceptable items to the clean-up day.

 

Materials must be in leak proof containers, with original product labels attached or a detailed description of material in the container. Acceptable materials: latex paint, oil based paint, household cleaners, motor oil/oil filters, old gasoline, residential fertilizers/pesticides, aerosol cans, antifreeze, household fluorescent bulbs, CFL’s, mercury bulbs, halogen bulbs, sharps (in rigid, sealed containers), rechargeable batteries, and ink/toner cartridges, Acceptable electronics: TV’s, monitors, laptops, computers, printers, video players, small kitchen appliances, cords, cables, and networking equipment.

 

Items NOT ACCEPTED: farm chemicals, business chemicals/waste, ammunition/explosives, Diethyl ether, ether, and picric acid.

NO APPLIANCES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

This clean-up day is for residents of Delaware County and Strawberry Point.
